So does America look like the Lord built the house to stand? I believe He providentially set us up as a Nation, but as Isreal had turned there back on God we have done the same thing. We have some troubling times ahead I believe.
Each of the Ten Commandments are broken in an ever turning cycle by those in our Nation and our prayers as a Nation are not being heard. Terrorist are killing our people along with those of other Nations. (No, I don't think God is killing our Soldiers because our nation is more accepting of Homosexuality but I do believe troubles will arise because of sin.) Our dependence upon other Nations is climbing to an all time high. We can no longer support our own. We are being invaded by illegal immigrants for the sake of financial gain. They are draining the resources we have to take care of our own.
It is as if we saw a pond of water, and were warned not to go into it but our thirst and lust have driven us to it, and we find it is sweet tasting but poisonous and there are leaches that are overtaking us. We had plenty of good water supplied but we were to lazy to go over the hill for it. The bad pond was closer and its poison worked slowly so that we thought we had time to recover even though we were warned. Now we are to weak to get out and need a Saviour.
We only have one hope. We need to return to our roots and Acknowledge Christ the LORD of Lords. He is the one who said " Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." He is the one who spoke all of creation into being. He is the only one we can turn to for help in time of need. He is the one who paid the price for our wickedness. But if we don't turn to him we will find ourself with no Hope and only despair to look forward to. Which way will America go? The way of the world or the way of the Most High King.
Some people are scared of theocracy. I fear being called a fool by God. Hopefully God chastises us or I sense we will be in great trouble and lost for ever.
